DropLive lets you start temporary demonstrations of open-source software. By using the site or starting a demo, you agree to these terms. Do not use DropLive if you do not agree to them.
A demo is temporary. We can limit its duration, capacity, features, or access, and we can end it at any time. Data inside the demo machine can be deleted when the demo ends. Do not use a demo as storage, a backup, or a production service.
You are responsible for what you do in a demo, what you upload, and the credentials you choose to provide. Do not enter personal, confidential, or production data unless you accept the risk of using it in a temporary demo.
You must not use DropLive to:
We may collect and retain account details, session details, technical logs, network destinations, and security events. We use these records to run the service, prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, enforce these terms, and meet legal obligations.
We keep these records only for the period needed for those purposes. The period can differ by record type and can be longer when we need to investigate suspected abuse, resolve a dispute, preserve evidence, or meet a legal duty. Your behavioural run history can remain available after the demo machine has been deleted. It describes what the software did, and only the account that ran a demo can read that demo's record.
Do not put a secret in a demo unless the launch page explicitly asks for it. When an app offers a bring-your-own credential option, that credential is for one launch only. We do not intentionally store it in the session record, logs, or run history.
Demos run software made by third parties. DropLive does not own, control, or endorse that software unless we say otherwise. A demo can use a real service or a stand-in; the demo record identifies the difference. A successful demo does not prove that the software is secure, fit for your use, or compatible with a real provider.
DropLive is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we give no warranty that the site, a demo, third-party software, sample data, or a connected service will be available, secure, accurate, error-free, or suitable for any purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, DropLive and its operators are not responsible for losses, damage, data loss, security incidents, lost profits, or other harm that results from your use of, or inability to use, DropLive, a demo, third-party software, sample data, or a connected service. This does not exclude responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.
We may suspend or end access when we believe there is abuse, a security risk, or a breach of these terms. We can change DropLive or these terms. The updated terms apply when they are posted. Continued use after that date means that you accept the updated terms.
